Many Christians will go to the polls this year and vote against the very scriptural values that they hold dear. This will happen because they are being deceived by those who put party politics above biblical truths, in order to empower themselves. These deceivers want you to believe that there is no difference between the Democratic and Republican Parties and that it doesnít matter who you vote for. This is a huge and dangerous lie. Christians not only have a duty to vote, but they have a duty to vote their scriptural values. Please consider the following positions of the two major parties, on the issues of abortion and homosexuality before you go to the voting booth.

The Democratic Party Platform States, "The Democratic Party stands behind the right of every woman to choose, consistent with Roe v. Wade, and regardless of ability to pay." The platform further states "This yearís Supreme Court rulings show to us all that eliminating a womanís right to choose is only one justice away. Thatís why the stakes in this election are as high as ever."

The Republican Platform States, "We support a human life amendment to the constitution and we endorse legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendmentís protections apply to unborn children. Our purpose is to have legislative and judicial protection of that right against those who perform abortions. We oppose using public revenues for abortion and will not fund organizations which advocate it. We support the appointment of judges who will respect traditional family values and the sanctity of innocent human life."

The Democratic Party Platform States, "We support the full inclusion of gay and lesbian families in the life of the nation. This would include an equitable alignment of benefits."

The Republican Party Platform States, "We support the traditional definition of "marriage" as the legal union of one man and one woman, and we believe that federal judges and bureaucrats should not force states to recognize other living arrangements as marriages."

We Believe that all Christians should prayerfully consider these facts before voting on November 7th. If you require additional information, you may contact Amy Allison at 270-362-2823 or talk to your own Pastor.

Please remember that your vote is important. It may be the vote that decides if millions of unborn babies are allowed to live or if they will be murdered at the hands of an abortionist!
