Perhaps that is not quite accurate, as the stand which they took is alongside him. There is no middle ground on this matter. As a result, since I have taken my vows very seriously and part of those vows include supporting the government of the church, which, in my opinion has committed heresy, I made the only choice I could make - to leave the denomination.
