Complaints against OK clergy

Today I got the final word on my complaints filed against two Oklahoma AC clergy some weeks ago. The clergy were Susan Ross of Perkins FUMC, Perkins OK and Leslie Penrose of City of Hope Methodist Mission in Tulsa, OK. The Tulsa World, The Daily Oklahoman and OETV got hold of the story and within a few days Leslie Penrose resigned her credentials before the story aired on OETV news. Susan Ross is still in her assignment at Perkins FUMC. The Bishop has declared the following, I quote in part,

"We have met with these pastors and have made confidential responses to their actions. It is my judgement that the disciplinary action we have taken is appropriate. It is also my judgement that the complaints do not represent offenses in Paragraph 2624.1 of The Book of Discipline. Therefore I am not forwarding this complaint to the counsel for the Church."

Folks we cannot continue to allow these apostates to hide behind their committees and bureaus. Their hiding effectively insulates them from any form of accountability. At this point I am going to ask you folks for some help. I intend to ratchet up the level of protest several notches, there will be repercussions. I highly recommend that any clergy offer your support strictly behind the scenes. Here is what I propose, I intend to picket FUMC Perkins, OK (Perkins is located 12 miles south of Stillwater, OK on Highway 177) on Sunday May 16th. Of course the appropriate TV and news media will be alerted to the picketing. The picketing will be absolutely non-violent and non-confrontational ala MLK and the civil rights marches of the 60's. The theme as I envision it will be based on 2 Chronicles 7:14. Of course it goes without saying that I would like to have a large turnout of picketers but whether it is a hundred or just myself this is going to occur. If any of you or any like thinkers in your churches would like to picket please let me know. Picket signs are needed as are handbills. I can print the handbills from my printer. What I need is the creative ideas in designing a catchy appearance. Your help and most certainly, your prayers, are solicited.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
