John, Here is a link that may be interesting to your readers: The individual delivering the address to the Reconciling Congregations, Belton Joyner, is the Administrative Assistant to the Bishop. As you can see they are meeting in the NC Annual Conference's HQ. By meeting in the NC Annual Conference's Offices and having the Bishop's right hand man as the featured speaker it certainly looks like the RCP has the official support of the NC Annual Conference.
