Reconciling Ministries Network is more prepared for General Conference 2008 than ever in our history.
 

• Over 500 United Methodists are trained to engage delegates.
• Already, nearly 300 volunteers are headed to Fort Worth, Texas.
• Coalition work continues with Common Witness allies and with Soulforce.
• Legislative teams are hard at work with strategic plans.
• Witness teams are creatively preparing for worship and readying for action.

One Family Tree includes building relationships with delegates before, during, and after General Conference to bring about the change we seek.  Your financial support can help strengthen RMN's voice in Fort Worth.  With open membership for laypersons hanging in the balance, the time to act is now.  To see the personal testimony of a young adult, Joey Heath, who was denied membership click here.

You can help.  Increasing the witness of youth and young adults is one piece of our strategy because we must communicate a vital message to the General Conference:

Youth and young adults between the ages of 16 and 29 are not interested in participating in an anti-gay United Methodist Church. The Future of Hope for our church is at risk more info.

We ask for your financial gifts to strengthen our overall witness and to get as many youth and young adults to General Conference as possible.  Among our witness events is Young Adult Day planned on April 25.
