The Rev. Sally Dyck mentioned in this article was a strong candidate for bishop at our last Jurisdictional Conference. In my opinion she is a radical liberal who may have the same attitude as others within our denomination that "seeking and saving the lost" is no longer what the focus of mission work is all about. I suggest that unless there is a very strong call which cannot be ignored for a committed evangelical to be put in that position it will go to someone who will support or at least not oppose this viewpoint. We need to write letters to the address given at the bottom of the news release asking them to appoint a strong evangelical to the post who will have a heart for "faith sharing" and believe it to be a vital part of mission work. This is absolutely vital to the life and future of the denomination. This person is leading the transition process Rev. Duane Sarazin Rev. Sally Dyck |
