Omaha First To Remain A Homosexuality Stronghold–Defrocked Former Pastor To PreachTo: John Warrener jwarrene@surfsouth.com Thought you might be interested to know that Jimmy Creech will be returning to the pulpit of FUMC-Omaha to preach May 7th. You may already be aware that the senior minister, Rev Don Bredthauer, is retiring and being replaced by Rev. Doug Williamson, who defended Jimmy Creech at his first trial. The associate minister, Rev. Charlotte Abram, has been appointed to another Omaha UM church, and will be replaced by Dana Bainbridge. "With Dana assuming the Associate Pastor responsibilities, we will not be seeking a second appointment from the Conference. Dana is a fully ordained pastor in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and will be able to fulfill all pastoral responsibilities at FUMC including administration of the sacraments."
