Creech To Leave Nebraska
An article in the May 23 addition of the Omaha World-Herald, written by Julia McCord, states that Creech and his family will be leaving Nebraska. He will step down from the pulpit on June 7th, as he feels it is time for the congregation to move forward. He is going to take a leave of absence from the Nebraska conference.
Creech and his family will spend the summer on a resort island off the coast of North Carolina, Ocracoke. He and his wife will clean cottages and take odd jobs while there. Then, they plan to move to Raleigh, which is where they lived before coming to Omaha. Creech said he doesn't believe any other Nebraska congregation would want him as a pastor.
