Subject: Disobedient Bishop Threatens To Uphold Discipline By Filing Charges Againt "The Six" CA Evangelicals

First of all, Bishop Talbert needs to know the definition of accountability. He wants people to be accountable and yet he does not hold himself accountable. Yes, I absolutely agree that injustice has been done as the Bishop failed to follow the proper disciplinary process if that's what he thinks he is doing. He is treating everybody like little children whom he could dictate and what he says goes.

What is a the purpose of the Book of Disciplines? It is evident that the Bishop will use it if suits him otherwise if it doesn't, it doesn't exist. For the lay people like myself, I always go back to the Book of Disciplines whenever I have a question on certain issues. But one thing I know for sure, the very reason why we are here is to build and nurture that spiritual gifts and not to destroy. Why the double standards?

I do pray that we can all put this behind us soon before any further division happens.
