I as a member of the MS UM annual conference. Is sickened by this term "Holy Union." The discipline must be obeyed, and if that means dividing the church then let it be. I believe that gays should be able to go to church. Though they should not have church leadership roles, that means they should not be conference leaders. Here are two questions: What does Christ think? What would John Wesley think?

Praise God for men and women of God like Wes Putnam maybe it is time to quit trying to keep something together that is not of God.

I am a Pastor in the East Ohio Conference and there are three letters of support for Mr. Dell in our East Ohio Today news paper and do I hear any out cry NO!

Friends we are sinking fast. When will we rise up and say enough !

As a child I was saved in a Methodist rivival and the word was preached that we are sinners who need to be saved by grace.

My heart is saddened also by the route the Methodist church has taken.

While I am not a six generation Methodist, I agree with all Wesley has written. I have experienced the unfortunate "schism" in a church of the Methodist denomination where a Godly Pastor was treated terribly, for standing firm in the Word of God.

May God have Mercy on you in your position as a leader in the denomination.
