Rev. Davis,

The pastoral letter signed by the bishops, which vowed to hold each other accountable comes to mind when one reads the actions Joseph Sprague took in the aftermath of the Dell Trial in Illinois.

It is obvious that Joseph Sprague is circumventing church law, by allowing the disobedient Greg Dell to remain in the Broadway parsonage and draw a salary for consulting work with the interim pastor at Broadway UMC.

Will you, sir, act to hold your fellow bishop accountable in his own disobediency?

Spragues acts are outrageous and encourage persons who don't agree with church law to flagrantly violate it!
