| Bishop Sprague Threatens a "Coming Out" Of
Pro-homosexuality Bishops
From: James
Gilson I am a Methodist and very proud of what the church stands for. The church should never bow to a "Chosen life style" rather than a God given life style. I agree that the gay community may have intelligent people but the way they flaunt themselves in public states a case of ignorance. If the chuch should pass such a ridiculous worded statement as I have read, it should disolve. Jim Gilson From: Martin W. C. ramtin@hotmail.com To Linda Rhodes, Director of Communications, Northern Illinois Conference Please forward this message to sprague:
sprague: In view of your APPARENTLY dismal lack of spiritual discernment and your APPARENTLY pitifully blind eyes and APPARENTLY sin hardened heart, I contend that YOU and other so-called episcopal leaders--morrison, talbert, rader, etc--would not know a pastoral or PROPHETIC word if it slapped you in the face. Get on that face before God and repent of your insolence before your Heavenly Father. You should be hugely ASHAMED. Of course, with your APPARENTLY calloused conscience, you surely feel no shame. I pray for your poor APPARENTLY lost soul. No doubt you will feel compelled to forward this to the bishop of the Louisiana area...go ahead, he APPARENTLY already knows of MY prophetic boldness, only he APPARENTLY thinks it's called "ego." I pray for him, too. Every Knee Shall Bow and Every Tongue confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! and if He's Lord, then His word is TRUTH and will not be diminished by the unbelief of APPARENT reprobates, no matter their office in an APPARENTLY corrupt institution. Martin Wesley Corie Elder, Louisiana Conference P.S. Of course, I support and will defend your right to say whatever you please. I know that in your desire to be pastoral and fair-minded, you will afford me the same right and privilege. If you can speak without fear of having to answer for it, I should be entitled to the same benefit--after all, you are ONLY an elder with a better appointment. From: Joe McManus Joe@STCS-Net.com I would certainly pray that the Lord God Almighty will speak to the hearts of our Bishops and will cause them to forsake the path of destruction that Sprague and Rader are urging upon them, returning to the ways of the Lord. But, we shall see. -- Joe McManus OSMA Austin, TX
