My dear brothers & sisters in Christ,

Before rumors begin to fly, let me be the one to tell you my news.  As of today, Monday, August 28, I am no longer a United Methodist Elder.  I drove to Sacramento today and turned in my elder's orders. God has taken me through a long process to get me to this point, but I know I have heard the voice of God and it is time for me to move on.   I would be happy to share my journey with any of you, but now is not the time. I want you to know that all of you are in my prayers as you continue to shine the light of our Lord Jesus Christ into the darkness.  I know you are being obedient to stay and I honor that.  May God use you all in powerful ways in His work within the UMC.  I have enjoyed being in ministry with you and look forward to continuing to being in ministry with you in a little larger context, the Church of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord bless you and keep you!

Give 'em Jesus!
