Homosexual Union Problem
UMC Layman Proposes Positive Action
by John C. Gardner
Here are several positive steps to take in
regard to the above issue:
Examine the e-mail from Confessing movement
News entitled JOINING CM'S CALL FOR ACTION
which contains the names of key Bishops to contact;
Contact your own Bishop.
Use material from the Pastoral Letter by Bishop Edwards of
North Carolina which endorses a special session of the General Conference on the
issues raised in the Creech Trial; Refer in your letters in numbers 1 & 2 to Bishops Edward's Letter and the Statement of the Cabinet found at
nccunc.org. These materials can be found under NEW NEWS RELEASES on North Carolina
Conference webpage.
Write Bishop Edwards a supporting letter for he
will be under much pressure to compromise and is one of the true heros in this case.

consider various options. I wish blessings to all of you in the name of God the Father,
